We’re headed to NYC Comic Con this weekend and found out there will be an exclusive Sam Raimi figure available there for lucky fans able to attend:
Credenda Studios has created a limited edition action figure of filmmaker Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead trilogy, Spider-Man). He even comes equipped with his own Super 8 camera. Limited to only 50, these bad boys will set you back $65 at the Tenacious Toys booth #208.
It’s been a while but we have some changes and updates to the site. We have added a new Events section where you can find the latest Evil Dead cast appearance dates as well as Film screenings. Games and Links have been moved to the Features section, which we have also revised. Recent Funko and NECA Evil Dead figures have been added to the Figures section. The Evil Dead Comics section is up to date with the latest issues as well as new series editions. Lastly S-Mart has been updated with new Evil Dead merch.
We will be updating other sections as well in the coming weeks as well as prepping for a new site design. We’ll keep you posted.

Bruce Campbell confirms and sheds some light on the upcoming Evil Dead television series in an interview with the Macomb Daily:
The popular indie-actor and Royal Oak native will soon reprise his most famous movie role, Ash Williams, in an “Evil Dead” TV series, it was announced recently. Campbell, 56, couldn’t say too much about it, however, and not because he was dodging the question.
“There’s very little to tell. It’s in the early development stages,” says Campbell, a graduate of Groves High School in Birmingham. “I’ve agreed to be in it. Beyond that, there’s absolutely nothing to tell. There’s no start date. It’s just something we’ve finally agreed to do.”

Bruce Campbell late last night addressed fans on Twitter confirming that he is indeed starring in the upcoming Evil Dead television series:

Sam Raimi, in a surprise appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic Con has announced that he and his brother Ivan are writing and Evil Dead TV series starring Bruce Campbell! Nothing else known at the moment. Sam Raimi apparently will also be producing the upcoming film adaptation of the Sony Playstation 3 video game The Last of Us by Naughty Dog. Very exciting news. A hardcover collection of Army of Darkness artwork published by Dynamite Entertainment is arriving this October. The collection will feature the works of J. Scott Campbell (Danger Girl), Arthur Suydam (Marvel Zombies), Nick Bradshaw (Wolverine and the X-Men), John Bolton (The Books of Magic), Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash), George Perez (Avengers), and many more. The cover will feature the original Army of Darkness painted movie poster work of Michael Hussar, which was also featured as the debut cover to Dynamite’s first Army of Darkness comic book series.
