Just found this awesome new F/X documentary ... there's only a couple of Army of Darkness props shown in it but we have great anecdotes from Shannon Shea of Evil Dead 2 fame about his work on The Mist and Dances With Wolves, as well as all the great F/X artists: Dick Smith, Rick Baker, Tom Savini etc ... I wasn't suprised to learn that the mighty Rob Bottin, put on a pedestal by nearly all horror nerds as THE arguement for make-up F/X versus CGI because of his unbeaten work on Carpenter's The Thing is, in fact, himself a fan of CGI.
