My OP? I don't like it. Filming in New Zealand, which knowing Raimi is no surprise whatsoever. I definitely don't see myself supporting the movie.

Again (for me), I'll give it a go and if it's shit (like Children of the Living Dead) i'll pretend it never happened. I'm going in not comparing it to the original because it isn't the original (my favourite film of any genre so far) ..  I'm actually looking forward to the new twists as long as they don't get tempted to over use psychedelic drug cliches as a lazy way to deliver visual f/x.

I'll give it a chance, but nothing I've heard so far sounds promising.

Also, this whole drug subplot just sounds like a lot of baggage. We shall see.
