  Bruce Campbell plays himself as Ellen's geeky boyfriend. He tries to scare Ellen with his knowledge of arrowheads and Indian burial grounds. Bruce becomes possessed by the evil after digging up a grave to make a fire for Elllen.

  Ellen Sandweiss plays herself as Bruce's girlfriend. She's becomes the sole survivor after Evil Bruce kills off Shelly and Scotty.

• Shelly
  Shelly is played be an unknown actress named Mary Velenetti. She is Scotty's hapless girlfriend in the film. Shelly gets brutally killed by Bruce after going outside to shine her flashlight in the woods. Shelly's character would later return in Evil Dead 1.

• Scotty
  Scotty is played by Scott Spiegal. He is the arrogant boyfriend of Shelly. Scotty gets mistakenly killed by Ellen after he returns from the woods searching for Bruce. Scotty's character also makes a return in Evil Dead 1.
