(Thank you to the UK's Gordon Rutter for tipping us off about this)

For UK fans and anyone else who can get the BBC2 channel, the classic BBC show Mastermind will have a contestant hoping to prove they are an expert on all things Evil Dead.

On Monday the 25th of January, 19.30 GMT and on BBC2 Mastermind, one of the specialist subjects is the Evil Dead Franchise. Contestants sit in a black leather chair, lit by a solitary spotlight in an otherwise dark studio. The inspiration for this was the interrogations faced by the show's creator, Bill Wight, as a prisoner of war during World War II.

It aired on the 25th and is on BBC catch up. I'm just about to watch it now.

edit: the one question I couldn't answer was "In Evil Dead 2, Annie arrives by airplane with pages from the book of the dead .. what was the name of the airline?" .. :) .. "Huntley Air" ..

I've recorded a slightly shaky but watchable camera phone vid of the session from my TV until a better quality one can be made Elise. If you're on messenger, I can send it to you if you want?. The constant's name is Ti Maja-Roebuck, she didn't get full points. I got more points than her but I also didn't know the name of the voiceover guy used for the 4 minute cut to secure further investment.

(I think this is the same woman btw .. it looks like her anyway)
